After a month off from Big V due to COVID restrictions we are extremely happy to be back on court. In our first round back we had some fantastic results, check them out below!
Jayco division 1 men
A hard fought game saw our men come away with win number 9 to keep us steadily in the top 4 race and on pace for a finals birth. Pulling away in the 4th quarter our men saw a 95-80. An even scoring load from the Rays saw them hold their lead for the entire game never letting the Seahawks back into the game. Michael Rebula and Lewis Beks led the scoring for the Rays with 18 and 16 respectively. While Riley Nicolson had 21 for the Seahawks.
The men look to secure another win as they take on Melbourne Uni in Geelong on Saturday night.

Ray white youth league 1 men
Our youth men have come away with a big win against top of the ladder Casey with a 17 point victory. The three headed snake of Jay Posterino, Hamish Goodie and Jack Moran combined for 75 points to dominate the Cavaliers. All registering 20+ points. To go with this Matthew Jennings was dominant on the boards with 15 to lockdown the defensive end. For the Cavaliers Blake Taylor was the only double digit scorer with 15.
The men travel to Frankston next weekend to take on the Blues.
Ray white youth league 1 women
A tightly contested game has seen our youth league women come away with 4 points away victory over the Craigieburn Eagles! A scoring outburst by Casidhe Green dropping 25 points and 9 rebounds led the way for GU, she was backed up by Alannah Northam who had 15 of her own. For the Eagles Chloe Villiva had 20 but it just was not enough to get them over the line.
The women will now travel to Frankston to take on the Blues on Sunday.
