Navexa Division 1 Men
Our Division 1 Men had a rough shooting 1stΒ quarter that was too much to overcome leading to a tough round 2 loss. Trailing by 15 at the main break, the men had a lot of work to do to get themselves back into the game. A 3rdΒ quarter outburst from Tyler Erard cut the lead to as little as 3 at one point, however the team ran out of gas with the damage done at the free-throw line leading to the 9 point loss 89-80.
The men will line up next Sunday at Leisure Sports Precinct against the Collingwood Allstars and will look for a bounce back win.

Navexa Division 2 Women
Our Division 2 Women headed down the highway to RMIT this weekend to face the Redbacks. A tough night from the field saw the Women only convert on 25% of their shot attempts for the game. This wasnβt good enough as the Redbacks were just too good on the night. Jessica Scannell was the bright spot of the game, registering a double double to lead the team.
The Women will debut at home this coming Saturday as they take on the Coburg Giants at 7pm.

Navexa Youth League 1 Men
Our Youth Men have taken a tough loss to the high octane offence of the Camberwell Dragons. Shooting an incredible 62% from the field, the Dragons managed to hit triple digits on the scoreboard which was too much for our Men to handle. Defensively, Camberwell turned 20 steals in 16 fast break points which definitely contributed to the loss.
Our Men will look to bounce back with a home game against Wyndham on Saturday before travelling to take on the Braves in Bendigo on Sunday.

Navexa Youth League 1 Women
A big double header weekend for our youth Women has seen them split their weekend and claim their first win of the season. Saturday night it seemed that the team ran out of the gas as a poor 4thΒ quarter saw them slip away and narrowly lose to Craigieburn 55-63. Sunday the team headed to Eltham and in a hard fought defensive game, the girls were able to edge out a win 42-45 to claim their first win of the season. A clutch layup by emmy Nekrep with less than 20 seconds to go put the game out of reach for the Wildcats.
The girls will look to claim a second win in a row as they take on Wyndham on Sunday at Leisure Spots Precinct.
