Tyler Erard (Pivot City) put on a show in the second half putting up 18 of his 21 to steady the scoring and control the lead. Cohen Blythe (Pivot City) supported well with 13 points and 4 steals.

Navexa Youth League 1 Men
A big double header saw our Youth League Men come away with a win and a loss to get them in the winners column for the first time this season! A mighty comeback effort fell agonizingly short on Saturday night as Wyndham only just held off the 4th quarter offensively display by United. With 5 players hitting double figures the scoring load was well rounded for the team but with time running out the team ended up 5 point losers 87-92. Jay Posterino (Try Boys) in his first game back took no time to pick up from where he left last season posting 20 points 4 assists and 3 steals.
While Saturday night didn’t fall the way of the team, Sunday’s road trip to Bendigo was an entirely different story. The Men were not to be denied this time coming away 27 point winners, routing Bendigo 95-68. Jay Posterino again led the way with 21 points while Kuol Reech posted a double double off the bench with 18 and 12 to go with 2 blocks. Connecting on 43% of their shots and forcing their way to the line 29 times made sure the boys came away with the win.
The team will now travel to Sherbrooke to take on the suns on Saturday.

Navexa Youth League 1 Women
Our Youth League Women escaped 4 point winners on Sunday as they narrowly avoided defeat to Wyndham at Leisure time Sports Precinct. A Strong 20-5 starting quarter set the girls up with a big lead, which they defended to the very end. A 12 point difference from Wyndham in the 4th just fell short as Emmy Nekrep (Pivot City) hit a tough and 1 to put the girls in command late and ultimately put the game out of reach for the visitors.
The girls will travel to Frankston to take on the blues this Sunday.
