Navexa division 1 men
Looking to head into the Easter break with a 3 and 1 record, the Division 1 Men hit the road to Bundoora to take on the RMIT Redbacks. With both teams missing starters, the game was tightly contested the whole way through with some big shots made down the stretch from both sides. While RMITβs starters did almost all of the scoring damage, the Stingraysβ bench was dominant, outscoring the Redbacks 41 to 4. Michael Rebula (Vytis) starred with 25 points and 6 assists while his backcourt partner Cohen Blythe (Pivot City) also stuffed the stat sheet with 16 points 6 rebounds 6 assists and 4 steals. Lachlan Headlam (Vytis) also monstered with an 18 point 14 rebounds double-double.
The game was close the whole way through however a slight lead into the 4th quarter was held with some big shots hit down the stretch which saw our Men come away 91-84 winners. The team will now look to the week off, sitting comfortably on the ladder tied for 4th with Warrandyte, who they will take on at Leisuretime Sports to take control of a top 4 spot.

Navexa division 2 women
Heading into the Easter break our Division 2 women have reset their record to .500 with a massive win over Surf Coast to enter the break 2 and 2. Our Women routed Surf Coast 101-45 with 6 players hitting double digits in scoring. Consisted scoring on the offensive end and stifling defence on the other was the catalyst for the Women. Holly Robinson continued her dominance with 24 points and 8 rebounds, while Abby Loughhead poured in 15 points that included 3 3s.
The team will travel to Altona after Easter to take on the Gators and look to improve to a winning record.

Navexa youth league 1 men
Our Youth league 1 Men looked to keep their winning ways alive as they headed to Sherbrooke to take on the Suns in a tightly contested game that came down to the wire. The first half ended with the Suns holding a 6 point lead but that was quickly erased as the United boys dominated the 3rd 27-14 before closing out the 4th by holding the Suns to just 11 points. Jay Posterino led the way again as he poured in 21 points to go with 3 blocks and 2 steals. Tyerell Luscombe Shockley also came out strong after returning from a major injury, in just 13 minutes Tryell stuffed the stat sheet and helped steady the bench scoring.
The team heads into the break with a 2-3 record and are fighting to get out of the middle of the pack. The Boys will look to extend their winning streak to 3 as they take on Frankston Blues at Leisuretime Sports Precinct on Saturday the 24th.

Navexa youth league 1 women
A tough first quarter has seen our Youth League Women ultimately go down to the Frankston Blues in a tough game dominated by Frankstons Bonnie Deas who carried the team with her 38 point 15 rebounds performance. The girlβs offence just was not rolling in the first quarter as they struggled to get the lid off the ring managing just 6 points. While they picked up in the remaining quarters the damage was done as the final score hit hard 94-55. Casidhe Green led the scoring with 18 points while Grace Spehar put up 10 and 12 to notch a double-double.
The Girls will regroup before a big home double header where they will take on the Eltham Wildcats on Saturday the 24th and then look for some revenge against the Blues on Sunday the 25th. Both games will played at Leisuretime Sports Precinct.
