CHAMPIONSHIP WOMEN

CC EAGLES 72 – WILDCATS 54

CC Eagles have taken it to the Wildcats in round 4 as they were able to come away 18 point winners in round 4. Emmy Nekrep was on fire for the wildcats dropping 6 threes on her way to 20 points, however, Candice Bryt and her 18 points was too much as the Eagles cruised to another early-season victory.

SHARKS 75 – SURFCOAST 26

A depleted Surfcoast team was demolished on Tuesday night by the always deadly Sharks. Kate Duff continued her strong start to the season outscoring the Coasters 28-26 for the game. Georgia Varley was also great with 23 of her own to help the Sharks to a big win. For Surfcoast, young gun Annie Poon led the way with 9.

PIVOT CITY 98 – TRY BOYS 27

It was the Bree Matthews show on Tuesday as she poured in a season-high 43 points to easily put away the Bears in round 4. Connecting on 7 threes, Bree was on fire as she nearly doubled Try Boys total game score. Casidhe Green was also great for Pivot with 18 of her own. Loni Williams was best on for Try Boys with 8.

CHAMPIONSHIP MEN

VYTIS 78 – YMCA 64

Vytis have continued their hot start to the season grabbing a 14 point win over YMCA. Former league MVP Romas Liebich continued his fine form with 18, while big man Lachlan Headlam led the way with 23. For the young YMCA squad, Jack Terrill and Leo Burgess both had 14 as they still continue to try and find their footing in Winter 2022.

WILDCATS 76 – SHARKS 60

DeMarcus Gatlin has been unleashed on Winter 2022 as he made his debut for Wildcats this season. The high flying import started his season off with a 12 point haul as the Wildcats took down the Sharks. Former Supercats teammate Nick Owusu led the way with 22 points including 4 three-pointers. For the Sharks, Lachlan Wilson wasn’t his usual sharpshooting self only managing 10 points for the game, while Ed Roxburgh led all scorers with 24.

CC EAGLES 66 – TRY BOYS 58

Big man Liam McInerney continued his fine form to the start the Winter 2022 season with a 27 point haul to lead his team to a tough 8 point win over Try Boys. A low scoring affair for both teams it was a battle of the bigs as Try Boys Seb Thomason led his team with 21 of his own, however, it was not to be as CC Eagles leapfrogged Into the top 4.

LARA GIANTS 82 PIVOT CITY 68

A tough second half for Pivot City has seen them lose their first game of the season to the Lara giants and their sharpshooting backcourt. Jackson Bentley led the way for Lara with 29 including 5 threes, while backcourt partner Gabe Hadley finished with 28. For Pivot City Max Kos and Jordan O’Leary both posted 21 points, however, it was not enough to get their team over the line in round 4.

ROVERS 69 – SG KINGS 62

Rovers have maintained their status in the top 4 for another week after a grind it out win over the SG Kings. The three-headed snake of Rovers keeps on putting up wins as Rohan Jarvie, Nathan Gronbeck and Jye Boyle combined for 65 of the teams 69 points. For the Kings, young gun Will Macpherson continues to show why he will be a problem for years to come leading his team with 18. Big man Griffin Errey backed him up with 16.
