A 20-point haul from Eve Braslis has spearheaded Pivot City to a 73-57 win over YMCA in Geelong United Basketball Women’s Championship action at AWA Alliance Bank Stadium on Tuesday night.
Pivot took control of the contest early, leading 24-14 at quarter time and 45-27 at the main break.
However, Y ensured the margin wasn’t a blowout, outscoring Pivot 30-28 in the second half.
Eliza Hannagan (14 points) and Molly Kent (13) battled hard for YMCA.

Veteran duo Olivia Cameron and Candice Byrt have combined to help Christian College Eagles overcome Wildcats at Geelong Arena, 54-46.
Cameron finished with 23 points and Byrt 15 as the Eagles outscored Wildcats 14-6 in the final quarter to claim their first win of the new season.
Chantelle Hall (13 points) and Kiara Foster (10) kept the scoreboard ticking over for Wildcats.
