Geelong United Basketball (GUB) is please to welcome our new Marketing Coordinator, Kat Stenhouse.
Reporting to our General Manager of Partnerships & Marketing, Connie Bolger, Kat will be working to enhance GUB’s brand visibility and engagement, contributing significantly to the launch and growth of our WNBL program.
With a Bachelor of Communication (specialising in public relations) from Deakin University, and extensive experience in marketing and communications, Kat excels in campaign creation and digital engagement.
Kat comes to us after working in marketing & communications at a disability organisation in Geelong, and had previously spent six years in visitor services at Zoos Victoria, as well as completing an internship with the internal communications team at the City of Greater Geelong while studying.
Speaking on her new role with GUB, Kat is looking forward to what this new challenge brings – “I’m really excited to join Geelong United Basketball as the Marketing Coordinator. For me, it’s all about building a strong community and making sure everyone feels included. I believe sports has the power to unite people and create positive change. I’m looking forward to working with the team to grow women’s basketball in Geelong and to promote an environment where everyone feels welcome and valued.”
