GUB Welcomes Jack Lineham

Geelong United Basketball (GUB) is pleased to welcome our new Community Competitions Assistant, Jack Lineham.

Reporting to our GM of Community, Jason Doherty, Jack will be involved in all levels of community competitions whilst also completing Business Traineeship with GUB.

As for his own background in the sport, Jack comes with a wealth of knowledge in the community basketball space. As a player, he served as player/captain for Wildcats with the Ballarat Basketball Association from U16’s-U20’s A Grade/Division 1 from 2013-2017. Jack was also an assistant Coach for Wildcats U10s, as well as the school holiday programs coach from 2014-2015. Having this diverse background in the club space gives Jack a great starting boost as he embarks on his professional journey behind the scenes in the sport.

Speaking on his new role, Jack is looking forward to what the future has in store with GUB – “I’m extremely excited to join the team at Geelong United – it’s an amazing opportunity to work in the sport I love. Having played most of my younger years, it’s a great chance to contribute towards making the Community Competitions the best they can be.”

Please join us in welcoming Jack Lineham to the GUB team.
