Geelong United Basketball (GUB) is pleased to welcome our new Program Coordinator, Courtney Burke.
Reporting to our GM of Community, Jason Doherty, Courtney will be working along with the community team with the aim to make all our community programs bigger and better than ever.
Formerly the Program Coordinator at Keilor Basketball Association, Courtney comes to us with a broad range of experience in the role. Courtney also has a background in facilitating multi-sport programs to children of all ages and all abilities through her work at Kelly Sports.
Courtney is an active participant in the basketball community, having coached teams at a community and VJBL level, and has assisted teams at a Big V Youth League level.
Speaking on her new role, Courtney is excited to strengthen basketball within the community. “I am excited to join the Geelong United team. I look forward to coaching our programs, contributing to the continued growth in the inclusion space and female participation, and generating further outreach of our programs within the community.”
