Tryout registrations are now open for your chance to be a part of our Big V Youth League and VJBL Under 20’s Geelong United teams.

Scheduled for the 20th and 27th of October, don’t miss your chance to be united this coming season!

The summer 24/25 season kicks off today!

Be a part of this all-inclusive and sensory-friendly introductory program for players between the ages of 4-7 years old that have a physical or intellectual disability.

GUB ANNUAL TOURNAMENT – CLINICS ANNOUNCED:

We’re gearing up for a big Geelong United Annual Tournament weekend next month!

Not only will we be hosting a wide selection of teams from around the region, we’ll also be hosting a range of clinics to get you informed around coaching, referee’s and inclusion.

With a wide variety of topics, activities, games and more, these clinics are not to be missed!

COMPETITION GROWTH – GUB ADDS NEW VENUE:

Geelong United Basketball (GUB) is excited to announce the addition of a new venue due to growing competition numbers.

The Bannockburn Recreation Centre will become an additional competition venue for 2 nights of the week during the upcoming summer season to cater for the increase in games throughout the season.

SERENITY IN THE STADIUM:

This Thursday, join us at GMHBA Stadium for a unique yoga experience that blends tranquility with community spirit.

Whether you’re an experienced yogi or just starting out, this event is about more than just yoga. It’s a chance to connect, support each other, and embrace movement and mindfulness in a supportive setting.

Be part of this inspiring journey toward better mental health. Together, we can make a difference and highlight the importance of mental wellness.

What: A mass Yoga event for up to 2000 people on GMHBA Stadium
When: Thursday 10th of October, 7am
Why: This event will run on World Mental Health Day to highlight the importance of physical activity and social connection on mental health outcomes.
Who: The event is a collaboration between two NFP organisations, Read the Play & Active Geelong, and will act as a fundraiser for their important work in advocating for physical activity and positive mental health in the region. The event is supported by Plan Group, Beyond Bank, Kardinia Park Stadium Trust, GMHBA, Times News Group, City of Greater Geelong and Kempe Engineering.
