Geelong United Basketball (GUB) is pleased to announce Luke Beard as the 2025 Big V Youth League Men’s Head Coach.
Luke, a stalwart of the Geelong United family, has been an integral figure at our club for many years, bringing an unmatched level of experience, wisdom, and leadership to the coaching ranks. In 2024, his strategic brilliance and unwavering determination guided the team all the way to the Grand Final—an incredible achievement that showcased his coaching prowess, even though victory narrowly eluded them.
Known for his ability to cultivate a winning mentality, Luke’s influence goes beyond the court. He’s a mentor, a motivator, and a leader who commands respect from players and coaches alike. His vision for the future of our Youth League Men’s program is clear, and we can’t wait to see the magic he’ll bring in 2025.
