Taylor Mole Signs On For NBL1

Geelong United Basketball (GUB) is pleased to announce the signing of Taylor Mole for the upcoming NBL1 South season commencing in March of 2025.

Currently working her way back into the fold with Geelong’s WNBL side after a preseason back injury, Taylor has made the decision to stay in Geelong at seasons end where she will look to bring her scoring power to the floor for United.

Last season playing for Mackay in the NBL1’s North conference, Taylor averaged 22.12 points, 2.76 assists and 7.53 rebounds per game, including a whopping 49 point haul against Ipswich.

“I want to come in and immediately bring really good energy from day 1,” Taylor said regarding her signing. “The group of girls that we have, I know a number of them from the AIS and other competitions playing both with, and against them. We’re going to be a team that the community can be really proud of.”

Five more of Taylor’s fellow WNBL teammates will join her as part of our new look 2025 NBL1 Women’s side including Jaz Shelley and Hannah Hank, with additional announcements to come every weekday through until Christmas Eve.
