WELCOME TO GEELONG UNITED BASKETBALL’S WEEKLY UPDATE.
IN THIS EDITION:
WNBL UPDATE:
Yesterday saw our squad head to Adelaide for the last outing of our inaugural season against the Lightning.
Unfortunately it was not a happy outing to end the season, going down by 17 points to the home side after sticking with them for the first half of the game. That now wraps up a fantastic first season for our club, with some big positives to take into season 2.
But tomorrow night, we switch to celebration mode as we host our first ever Geelong United WNBL Club Awards at Mt Duneed Estate presented by Navexa.
Awards presented on the night will include Club MVP, People’s Choice Award, Defensive Player of the Year and Players’ Player.
We will keep you updated on all award winners throughout the night via our official WNBL social channels, and post a full recap her following the event.
