NBL1 Update:
Our full rosters have officially been announced with the last of our marquee signings being named last week: Jasmine King, Poppy Stevens and Raini Matthews round out the women’s squad, with Jay Posterino, Ethan Blythe and Oskar Jones the last pieces of the men’s puzzle.
Also announced, our 2025 Pathway Players. These players have been highlighted based on their contributions and growth through our VJBL and Big V Youth League system, and will now have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience by working with both the NBL1 and Big V Youth League programs.
In more exciting news last week, Plan Group have been named as our official Naming Rights Partner for the upcoming season.
This exciting partnership marks a significant investment in the future of basketball in Geelong, reinforcing Plan Group’s commitment to the local community and sporting excellence.

Legacy Cup:
It’s time for basketball clubs across Victoria to showcase their talent and compete for the ultimate title.
This tournament is all about celebrating grassroots basketball — the players, the teams, and the communities that make local hoops so special.
Whether you’re a well-seasoned squad or an up-and-coming team, the Legacy Cup is your chance to shine!
Teams will battle it out across multiple divisions (U10’s, 12’s, 16’s 18’s & seniors) for the prestigious title of Victorian Club Champion in their division. The club that wins the most championships across all divisions will be crowned Legacy Cup Champion — the true champion of community basketball!

Join us for an all-inclusive, fun-filled wheelchair basketball competition where everyone is welcome to play! Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just looking to give it a go, this is the perfect opportunity to get active, meet new people, and have fun on the court.
Games are played every Tuesday night at Try Boys Basketball Stadium, and we provide the wheelchairs – you bring the energy!
